The beach itself is really small and every inch of sand ends up being occupied by beach umbrellas or beach blankets. So the best advice is to get there as early as possible. See our tips below.

Get there early – as early as possible. We recommend getting there between 8:30am – 9:00am to find space to lay down your beach blanket and beach umbrella. If you get there after 11AM most of the prime sunbathing areas are taken.

When facing the beach avoid sunbathing by the cliffs on the right as you may lose the sun later in the day.

Bring everything you’ll need for the day – food, drinks, sunscreen, beach towels, beach umbrella.

A good place to buy your grocery is the Carrefour by the airport (Carrer del Cardenal Rossell, 168, 07007 Coll d´en Rabassa, Illes Balears, Spain) but it opens at 9AM so be quick about getting your grocery to get to the beach on time. If you can buy our grocery the night before thats even better to save time in the morning.

There are no toilets but there are porta potties in the parking lot on Calla Lombards.

Expect to stay for the entire day and spend an amazing day on the beach and in the warm turquoise waters.

Snorkeling is decent.

Flying your drone is prohibited as there is a neighborhood security guard that will scold you if you do.

Getting There

By Car: The easiest way to get there is by car. It’s about an hour drive (60km) from Palma on MA-19.

Parking: Parking is pretty easy at the Parking Lot on Cala Llombards (07690 Cala Llombards, Balearic Islands, Spain). Search for “Parkplatz” on google maps. From there expect to walk for 15 minutes (1.5km) to the beach. Be careful about parking on the streets in spots that are reserved for locals as locals have been know to slash your tires if you park there.

Public Transportation: Public transportation is not recommended as bus service is pretty sporadic.
